The third full-length animated feature from Koufuku no Kagaku (幸福の科学, also known as The Institute for Research in Human Happiness, or colloquially, Happy Science). **This anime is religious propaganda.** *The Golden Laws* (*Ougon no Hou: El Cantare no Rekishikan*) is about a teenage girl from the 30th century, Alisa, who steals a time machine and picks up Satoru, an ancestor from the 25th century. Together, they venture back through time and witness some of the religious turning points of history, including the gods of Greece, the Exodus, the life of Buddha, and the Crucifixion, all as interpreted by Kyoufuku no Kagaku. The video and Japanese audio are from a QTS DVD rip. The English audio is from a previous rip by an unknown group. The subtitles are from Kyoufuku no Kagaku's official YouTube channel and are essentially dubtitles. The subtitles have been retimed and lightly edited, but the content is unchanged. This (and other QTS-remuxes of Happy Science anime movies) has been floating around BakaBT and other private trackers [for more than a decade](https://collectr.blogspot.com/2014/07/confession.html). Why should they be the only anime communities to suffer? Note: Unless you are a member of the cult, an anime "completionist," or a devotee of religious propaganda, *skip this*. In addition to the usual complaints about Happy Science films, this particular anime is very dull, with a minimum of action and plot to offset the preaching. **You have been warned.**
